Escape at DOK Leipzig
Earlier this year, Care International commissioned me to make a short documentary. The resulting film, Escape, is part of the Official Selection - International Documentary Programme at DOK Leipzig, after being screened in the Balkans at Sarajevo Film Festival and Dokufest.
I've co-founded a company working in data visualization, photography and film. We're called UZROK.

Very excited to announce that A Letter to Dad will start in cinemas in Croatia on January 25th 2013, distributed by Restart.
Mirage on tour and VOD in Poland
Mirage will be part of the WATCH DOCS Traveling Festival in 2013, touring nearly 40 cities and towns in Poland. In addition, the film can be seen in Poland on the VOD Watch Docs channel during the next 6 months.
The First Step to premiere at LSFF

Mirage in competition in Jihlava
Mirage has been selected for the Between the Seas competition of Central and East European documentaries at Jihlava International Documentary Festival 2012. I will also take part as one of the 10 directors selected for the Inspiration Forum.

A Letter to Dad has been acquired by the BFI for their National Film Archive - an unlikely addition to the British national heritage.
Jury Member at Dokufest
I had the honour of being a member of the Balkan Jury at Dokufest 2012 together with Marta Andreu and Cinta Peleja. The Best Balkan Documentary Award went to Ilian Metev's Sofia's Last Ambulance, a small miracle of a film.

Festival Delle Lettere Commission
I have been commissioned by the Festival Delle Lettere from Milan (as part of their collaboration with the London Short Film Festival) to make a short film based on a letter. The film will be shown at the next edition of the Letters' Festival.

Mirage featured in Sight & Sound
The National Film and Television School produced a bumper crop of documentaries in 2011, including this sumptuous visual exploration of Dubai. Director Keca balances the stunning landscapes of the city – from its beautiful but brutal sand dunes to the innumerable glittering towers of Babel that line the empty streets – with the earthy sweat of the people who live and work there, in glorious luxury or abject poverty.
